I have used Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred program for many years and it has been getting better. The setup time is becoming shorter and the accuracy has significantly improved. Recently I have upgraded my operating systems and Microsoft office, but Dragon is not interfacing well with them.
When you become a proficient user the verbally commands selecting and correcting optioni works wellin most programs.When I start making more errors is sometimes because I am not speaking clearly and if I have to correct verbally it can become very frustrating. This is why I like the double click correction option, though I have found the only way to use all of Dragon's features, is to dictate into Dragon's WordPad.
Challenges of dictation:
When I am stressed, angry, excited, or tired my voice changes and the program's accuracy dropss.
It is extremely difficult to write anemotionalletter
Recently I had a tooth pulled and my mouth was swollen that was the end of working on my webpage for a couple weeks, it's still a problem and it has significantly impacted my speed and accuracy.
Of course if I catch a cold my speech files have to be reset up for that new sick voice and later change back when I get better.
Remember if there is some reason why your voice is different don't save your voice files for that session.
I used to save my voice files after every session, but I've found that it fragmented my hard drive so bad that I had to keep defragging my hard drive to keep it running smoothly. Now I only saved my voice files if I have done a lot of correction training.

Dragon Dictation Composing Messages Free on IPhone
Launch the Dragon Dictation application first. Tap the red recording button in the middle of the screen to initiate voice recognition process. While the application is recording, speak your message. Tap the “Done” button at the bottom of the screen when you finish speaking. You can always tap the red recording button again to dictate additional texts.
Over the years I have seen this product demonstrated at conferences and I was very impressed. The new guided tour shows that it has increased its capability to include voice activation. There are some sweet futures and in a voice to text is as good as Dragon you can replace both Dragon and Kurzweil program.
